The Test Mailer tab allows you to specify settings to be used when testing the printing of mailer forms. The Test Mailer tab may contain any of the following fields.

Indicates the mailer style to be used.
| • | The Self-Mailer 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch style prints on the two part self-mailers currently available from Creative DataProducts. This newer format provides more characters for the library address, and prints the key legend to the O, P, and B code letters that follow each line of the notice. |
| • | The Plain Mailer 4 1/2 x 8 inch mailer is the original mailer style. |
If the notice exceeds the maximum of 8 lines, a new notice will be printed for the additional lines of item information.
Note: When printing the finished mailer report, the following format may be used as a guide for formatting the new report. These values may be different for your library’s printer.

Specifies the message file that contains the default text for the actual mailer. You may select a message file that was delivered with SirsiDynix Symphony, or a message file created by your library.
To print the test mailer with asterisks only, select the blank entry in the list to erase the default message file selection.
