About this online help

The online help used in this client contains documentation for SirsiDynix’s WorkFlows Client for the Java Platform™ software. This help file is intended for library staff and for system administrators who must set up system parameters.

The WorkFlows client features wizards that allow you to perform complex library tasks quickly and efficiently. Toolbars provide the most effective way to access these SirsiDynix Symphony wizards. Each SirsiDynix Symphony module is represented with a wizard toolbar. Function key mapping may also be used to access the wizards. The helper bar, menu bar, and navigational tools such as alert windows and hypertext links allow you to move easily through the WorkFlows client. Wizards and helpers can be customized by setting WorkFlows properties.

The main goals of using Offline WorkFlows are to check out material to registered users, register new users, and to receive and process returned material in an offline mode, when you are unable to connect to the SirsiDynix Symphony server. The Offline WorkFlows feature is delivered as part of the WorkFlows Client for the Java Platform™. This offline help provides information about how to use the Offline WorkFlows wizards and other Offline features.
