Import Image from Server Helper

The Import Image from Server helper is used to load an image from a server into your digital collection.

The default image directory may be preset in the Resource Manager wizard properties. You can set a partial path in the Resource Manager wizard properties and enter subdirectory paths in the helper. If you use the properties to set the directory path, only the remainder of the path and file name can be entered in the helper. The file name must always be entered in the helper.

This question does not display if your site does not have content searching.

The default for the image position is sequential. If the node has five images, then the default image position would be six. However, you could enter any number between one and six to control how the images are stored and displayed. For instance, if you typed 1 for Please Enter the Image Position, the image you import would be the first image listed within the node.
