The Collapse/Expand helper is used to expand or collapse a resource in the directory tree. Once a resource is opened in Hyperion, it can be expanded to show all children by clicking the + (plus) sign in the directory tree, and collapsed by clicking the - (minus) sign.
• | Expanding a resource identifies all the children assigned to the resource selected, and allows them to be selected and displayed in the Resource Metadata window for viewing, modifying, or performing other maintenance. |
• | Collapsing a resource compresses all of the children and causes only the parent resource to be listed in the directory tree. |
Right-click an expanded resource listed in the directory tree or click the - (minus) sign to the left of an expanded resource to use the Collapse helper function.
The Hyperion helpers will also be listed in the drop-down list that displays when the directory tree is right clicked.
If the resource has no children associated with it, the expand option will not display.
