Create Resource After Helper
The Create Resource After helper is used to create and position a new sibling resource immediately after a selected resource in the hierarchy. The new resource is directly below and equal to the selected resource.
The following fields are available in the Create Resource After helper under Resource Metadata.
If you have the Access Control module, the following fields are available in the Create Resource After helper under Resource Metadata.
To create a new resource

Click on the existing resource that will be occupy the place before the new resource in the hierarchy. |

Click the Create Resource After helper to open a new Resource Manager window. You can also do the following to open a new Resource Manager window. |

Right click a resource, select Create, then select After. |
|

Select Helpers in the menu bar, then select Create Resource After. |

Under Resource Metadata, select a Resource Type from the list. Once a Resource Type is selected, Hyperion searches the policies for that type and populate Resource Metadata with allowable fields defined in the Format policy, typically the Dublin Core Format policy, for that type of resource. |

Type a Name for the new resource. This field is required and has a limit of 100 characters. |

Type a Resource ID to create a unique identifier for the resource. This field is optional, is case-sensitive, and is limited to 120 characters. |

Type a Description of the resource. This field is optional and has a limit of 120 characters. |

Select an Access Level for the resource from the list. This field is required. |

Use the provided template or the Insert Row Before, Insert Row After, or Delete Row helpers to manage Resource Extended Metadata, if desired. |

Click OK to create the new resource. The following message displays. |
Do you want to attach an image to this resource?
You have two options for the resource.

If you select No, the resource is added to the parent resource without attaching an image. |
|
•
|
If you select Yes, the following message displays. |
Do you want to import image from PC?
You have two options for importing the image.
|
•
|
If you select Yes again, the Import Image from PC helper displays, allowing you to Choose the File Name and decide whether to Delete File after Import. |
|
•
|
If you select No, the Import Image from Server helper displays, allowing you to Enter a File Name and decide whether to Delete File After Import. |
Images can be added to a resource at any time using the Import Image from PC or Import Image from Server helpers.
