Modify Resource Helper

Click the Modify Resource helper to modify an existing resource by changing information previously entered or adding new information.

The following fields are available in the Modify Resource helper under Resource Metadata.

• Resource Type Field
• Name Field
• Resource ID Field
• Description Field
• Access Level Field
• Resource Extended Metadata Fields

If you have the Access Control module, the following fields are available in the Modify Resource helper under Resource Metadata.

• Classification Field (Requires Hyperion Access Control Manager with Accountability turned On to display.)
• Need to Know Field (Requires Hyperion Access Control Manager with Accountability turned On to display.)
• Restrictions Field (Requires Hyperion Access Control Manager with Accountability turned On to display.)

To modify a resource

1 Click on the existing resource to be modified.
2 Click the Modify Resource helper to open a new Resource Manager window. You can also do the following to open a new Resource Manager window.
• Right click a resource and select Modify.
• Select Helpers in the menu bar, then select Modify Resource.
3 Modify the existing information as required.
4 Click OK to save your changes or Cancel to leave the helper without making changes.
