The Paste Resource After helper is used to reposition a resource that has been cut from the directory tree.
To cut a resource and paste it after another resource
1 | Double-click each level of the directory tree, or use the Expand helper, to display the resource you want to move in the directory tree. |
2 | Select the resource you want to move. |
3 | Click the Cut Resource helper to cut the resource from the hierarchy, place it in the paste buffer, and activate the paste helpers. You can also do the following to cut a resource. |
• | Right click a resource and select Cut. |
• | Select Helpers in the menu bar, then select Cut Resources. |
Once a resource has been cut, its display in the directory tree appears dimmed.
4 | Highlight a resource to move the cut resource after. |
5 | Select the Paste Resource After helper to reposition the resource. |
Your Resource Attribute policies must be set so that the Resource Type you are pasting is a valid child of the Resource Type you are attaching it to.
