The Repaginate Image helper is used to reorder images contained in a multi-image resource. It is only active when a resource contains multiple images and is unavailable in the Helpers menu if only one image is associated with the resource.
To repaginate images within a resource
1 | Select the resource to be repaginated. Scroll through the resource using the Image Position tools under Resource Metadata and use the View Image helper to identify the image or images to be moved. |
2 | Select the Repaginate Image helper. Like every other helper, this can be invoked using the menu bar, the toolbar, or the right-click menu. |
3 | Enter the number or numbers of the images to be moved in the Move Image(s) text box. |
4 | Click Before or After. |
5 | Enter the number of the image immediately preceding or following the image or images you want to move in the Image text box. |
6 | Click OK to complete the repagination. |
For example, a resource has five images, one through five, assigned to it. You have determined that the structure of the resource would be more logical if images three and five were listed first. To do that, you would enter three and five (3,5) in the Move Image(s) text box, click Before, and enter one (1) in the Image text box. Click OK and image three is now the first image in the resource, and image one is now the third.
The Image Position indicator shows how many images are assigned to this resource and provides navigation arrows to move through the images. Image positions can also be set when using Import Image from PC and Import Image from Server.
